  • 4 tbsp butter (softened) For making herb butter.

  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme Adds a fragrant touch.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Keeps turkey moist during roasting.
  • 2 tbsp flour For thickening the gravy.
  • salt and pepper To taste.
Gravy Ingredients
  • 1 cup broth (pan drippings) To enhance the gravy flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme to create a fragrant herb butter.
Turkey Preparation
  1. Rub the herb butter all over the boneless turkey breast, ensuring to get some underneath the skin.
  2. Generously season the turkey with salt and pepper.
Roasting
  1. Place the seasoned turkey breast in a roasting pan and pour the chicken broth into the bottom.
  2. Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for 1.5 to 2 hours, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  3. Baste occasionally with the pan drippings for extra flavor.
Resting and Gravy Preparation
  1. Once cooked, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. Using the pan drippings, add 2 tablespoons of flour to the liquid in the roasting pan. Whisk until combined.
  3. Pour in an additional cup of broth to thicken and bring to a simmer until it reaches desired consistency.

Notes

Great for family dinners and holidays. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat gently to maintain moisture.
