  • Flaky sea salt Flaky sea salt, for garnish, optional

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl or measuring cup, combine 2 tablespoons of caramel sauce with 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar and 1/4 teaspoon of fine sea salt. Stir the mixture until the sugar is mostly dissolved and the texture is smooth.
  2. Take a tall serving glass and drizzle a little extra caramel sauce around the inside to create a decorative swirl. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  3. Pour 1 cup of chilled cold brewed coffee over the ice. Stir in the caramel-salt mixture carefully until fully combined.
  4. Pour 1/4 cup of whole milk or half-and-half into the glass and stir gently to combine. Adjust the amount to your taste preference. Optionally, top with whipped cream and drizzle additional caramel sauce over the cream, finishing with a pinch of flaky sea salt.
  5. Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy fresh.

Notes

Store the caramel-coffee mixture (without ice or milk) in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Avoid freezing as ice melts and milk can separate.
