Preparation
- Begin by heating a skillet over medium-high heat. Once it’s warm, add the butter and allow it to melt completely.
- Season both sides of the salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper.
Cooking
- Carefully add the salmon fillets to the skillet. Cook for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- In the last minute of cooking, add the minced garlic and lemon juice to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the salmon.
Serving
- Once cooked through, garnish the salmon fillets with fresh lemon slices and chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Be cautious not to overcook the salmon. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
