Cooking Steps
- Begin by heating 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat until melted and gently bubbling.
- Add 1 clove of minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper and place them in the skillet, cooking for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Once the salmon is nearly done, pour 2 tablespoons of lemon juice over the fillets and cook for an additional minute.
- If desired, sprinkle fresh parsley over the top and serve warm straight from the skillet.
Notes
Leftover salmon can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days; can freeze for 2 months. Reheat gently on the stovetop over low heat or in short increments in the microwave.
