Preparation
  1. Begin by placing the chicken breasts directly into the slow cooker, spread out evenly.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine chicken broth, taco seasoning, and salsa. Stir well until blended.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker, ensuring it covers the chicken breasts.
Cooking
  1. Set your slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours. If using high heat, check the chicken at around 4 hours.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
  2. Fill taco shells or tortillas with the shredded chicken and add your favorite toppings.

Notes

These tacos are great for potlucks or family gatherings; everyone can customize their meal. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat with a splash of broth to maintain moisture.
