  • 1.5 lb chicken breast (cubed) Boneless and skinless preferred
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened) For mixing and piping
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella For topping
  • black olives (sliced for legs) For decoration
  • carrot sticks For added crunch
  • wooden skewers For threading chicken
Seasonings
  • ranch seasoning For seasoning chicken
  • salt To taste
  • pepper To taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by seasoning the cubed chicken with ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper. Make sure each piece is well coated.
  2. Take your seasoned chicken and thread the cubes onto the wooden skewers, leaving some space between each piece for even cooking.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F. Grill or bake the skewers for about 15-18 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through and reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
Mixing and Assembling
  1. While the chicken is cooking, mix the softened cream cheese with a bit of ranch seasoning.
  2. Once the chicken skewers are cooked, arrange them on a platter in a spider body shape.
  3. Pipe cream cheese around the edges of the spider body and sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top.
  4. Use black olive slices as spider legs, radiating them outward from the body.

Notes

Great for Halloween or any gathering. Can substitute chicken with turkey, shrimp, or tofu. Customize with different vegetables or cheeses.
