- Heat the apple cider in a small saucepan over medium heat, being careful not to bring it to a boil.
- Once the cider is steaming, add the cinnamon stick and cloves, and let it simmer for about five minutes.
- Remove the spices and stir in the honey and lemon juice until fully dissolved.
- Pour the warm spiced cider into a mug, then gently stir in the bourbon.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick and an orange slice.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For a non-alcoholic version, omit the bourbon. Customize the sweetness to your preference by adjusting honey. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
