  • 2 cups sparkling water Use flavored sparkling water for a twist, if desired.
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice Can be substituted with lemon juice.
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup (or honey) Start with a small amount, adjusting sweetness to taste.
  • Ice cubes Ice cubes For serving the mocktail.
  • Mint leaves Mint leaves (for garnish) Can be replaced with basil or rosemary.

Preparation
  1. In a blender, add the blackberries and blend until smooth. If you prefer a smoother texture without seeds, strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve.
  2. In a glass, take the blackberry puree and combine it with the lime juice and agave syrup. Stir gently to mix everything well.
  3. Fill your glass with ice cubes, leaving some space at the top for the sparkling water.
  4. Pour sparkling water over the ice and blackberry mixture, filling the glass to the brim.
  5. With a long spoon, stir the drink gently to combine all the ingredients without flattening the bubbles.
  6. Decorate your mocktail with fresh mint leaves and a few whole blackberries for a lovely presentation. Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing taste.

Notes

This mocktail is versatile and festive, perfect for any gathering. Store prepared blackberry puree in the fridge for up to 2 days, and freeze leftovers in ice cube trays for later use.
