Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Divide the pizza dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a long rope, approximately 12 inches long.
  3. Shape each rope into an S-shape to resemble a snake, pinching one end to create a triangular head.
  4. Use scissors to snip small slits along the top of each snake for added texture and press sliced almonds into one end for fangs.
Baking
  1. Brush the shaped snakes with the beaten egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds over them.
  2. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
  3. Bake in the oven for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Let cool slightly before adding the red gel icing for the tongue and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
