Preparation
- Start by cutting the ripe avocados in half and removing the pits. Scoop the avocado flesh into a mixing bowl. Using a fork or potato masher, mash the avocados to your desired consistency.
- Add the diced red onion, minced jalapeño, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and a pinch of salt to the mashed avocados. Gently fold these ingredients into the avocado until everything is evenly mixed. Taste and adjust the salt if needed.
- Transfer the guacamole to a shallow serving bowl. Smooth the top with a spatula or the back of a spoon to create a nice finish for decorating.
- Use black olive slices to create two large eyes near one edge of the guacamole.
- Arrange small olive pieces in a line across the guacamole to mimic Frankenstein's stitches, gently pressing them into the dip.
- Serve the Spooky Frankenstein Guacamole Green Dip with crispy tortilla chips, best enjoyed fresh.
Notes
Store leftover guacamole in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface before sealing to minimize browning. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
