Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a large bowl.
  3. Add the granulated sugar to the melted butter and mix until smooth.
  4. Crack in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Add the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder together.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  2. Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking doneness with a toothpick.
Cooling and Decorating
  1. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
  2. Crumble chocolate cookie crumbs on top.
  3. Decorate with gummy worms and candy tombstones before slicing.

Notes

Be careful not to overcook the brownies. Decorate only after they have completely cooled.
