  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Packed brown sugar works best.
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon Adjust to taste for more spice.
  • 1/4 cup melted butter For brushing the dough.
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree Choose pure pumpkin puree for best results.
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar For the glaze.
  • 1 tablespoon milk Add more if necessary for glaze consistency.
  • Candy eyes For decoration.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Carefully unroll the refrigerated cinnamon roll dough and separate each roll.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
Assembly
  1. Brush each roll with melted butter and sprinkle generously with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  2. Roll each piece of dough back up tightly, then twist and pinch the top to create a pumpkin shape.
  3. Place the shaped rolls onto the prepared baking sheet.
Baking and Glazing
