Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Remove the melted butter from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Beat in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt, mixing just until all ingredients are combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly across the surface.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly on top of the brownie batter.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. They are done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.
Decoration
- Once cool, melt the white chocolate and drizzle it across the brownies in a spider web pattern.
- Place candy spiders on top of the white chocolate web.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat on the stovetop or microwave for a quick treat.
