Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven according to the instructions for your pizza dough, usually around 425°F.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out your pizza dough to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Assembling
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.
- Take the sliced pepperoni and arrange it on top of the cheese to create a spider web pattern.
- In a small plastic bag, add the cream cheese and cut a tiny corner. Pipe the cream cheese to create web lines on top of the pepperoni.
- If using cooked sausage, sprinkle it evenly over the pizza, then season with Italian seasoning to taste.
Baking
- Place the pizza in the oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
Serving
- Once out of the oven, let the pizza cool for a few minutes on a wire rack to maintain crispiness.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer preservation, freeze and reheat for optimal texture.
