Preparation
- Gather all of your ingredients. Measure and mince 2 tablespoons of fresh ginger and 2 tablespoons of garlic.
- In a medium bowl, combine the minced ginger and garlic with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, chili paste or sriracha, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Using a whisk or fork, mix all the ingredients together until they form a smooth, well-blended sauce.
- In a heated pan or wok, add your choice of protein or vegetables and stir fry until cooked through.
- Pour in your homemade sauce and toss everything to ensure the ingredients are well coated.
- Continue to cook for a couple more minutes, allowing everything to heat through without overcooking the vegetables.
- Serve hot with rice or noodles as desired.
Notes
Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week or freeze for three months. Reheat gently when ready to use.
