Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Evenly place the sliced apples in the bottom of your greased dish.
Topping
- In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the melted butter into the dry mixture and stir well until everything is combined and crumbly in texture.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples, covering them completely.
Baking
- Place the baking dish in your preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes until the apples are tender and the topping turns golden brown.
- Remove the crisp from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serving
- Serve it warm on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
