Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup apple cider Pure and unfiltered is preferred for better flavor.
  • 1 cup brewed coffee Use decaffeinated if preferred.
  • 1 stick cinnamon stick For stirring and garnishing.
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg Can be substituted with allspice.
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar Can be replaced with maple syrup.
Optional Garnishes
  • 1 serving whipped cream Dairy-free options also available.
  • a few slices apple slices For visual appeal.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, heat the apple cider over medium heat until it is warm. Stir occasionally to ensure even heating, but do not let it boil.
  2. Once the apple cider is warm, add the ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar to the pan. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved and the spices are evenly mixed into the cider.
  3. In a coffee cup, pour in the brewed coffee. Carefully add the spiced apple cider mixture to the coffee, combining both flavors to create a warm, aromatic beverage.
  4. Place a cinnamon stick in the cup as a stirrer. This not only adds an appealing touch but also enhances the flavor as you sip.
  5. If desired, top your drink with whipped cream for a touch of indulgence. You can also garnish with apple slices to make the drink visually stunning.
  6. Serve your warm spiced cinnamon apple cider coffee cup immediately while it’s still warm, and enjoy the comforting flavors.

Notes

Use pure and unfiltered apple cider for the best flavor. Do not boil the cider as it can change the taste. This drink can be enjoyed year-round, but it especially shines during fall and winter.
