Preparation
- Begin by placing the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat the chocolate in the microwave, using 30-second intervals. Stir the chocolate after each interval until it is fully melted and smooth.
- Once your white chocolate is ready, dip each pretzel rod into the melted chocolate. Make sure to coat them completely, allowing any excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl before placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- After all the pretzels are coated, take your black icing and drizzle it over the pretzel rods in a zigzag pattern to create a 'mummy' bandage effect. Work quickly to ensure that the icing sticks to the chocolate while it’s still wet.
- While the black icing is still wet, gently press candy eyes onto each pretzel rod.
- Let the pretzels sit at room temperature until the chocolate has hardened completely.
- Once cooled, your White Chocolate Halloween Mummy Pretzels are ready to serve. Arrange them on a festive platter.
Notes
Store these mummy pretzels in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. For long-term storage, freeze tightly wrapped in plastic wrap. No reheating needed, but you can gently warm in the microwave for meltiness if desired.
